About Ms Ewa Patelska

Ms Ewa Patelska is an experienced physiotherapist fully registered in the UK with the Health and Care Professions Council and founder of Patelska Physiotherapy, a Healthcare business based across Cambridge.

Prior to opening her own practice Patelska Physiotherapy, Ms Patelska gained extensive experience in physiotherapy from working in Spain, Kenya, and the UK. Currently, is part of the Community Rehab Team.

For the past three years, she has been part of a respiratory team that worked during the COVID-19 pandemic, treating individuals with respiratory conditions, managing oxygen therapy, conducting pulmonary rehabilitation classes, and preventing hospital admissions home visits. She has also participated in physiotherapy teams at Cambridge University Hospital, contributing to the Departments of Medicine for the Elderly, Surgery, and Neurosciences. Previously, she worked in the Orthopedic, Medicine, and Respiratory teams at Suffolk Hospital, where she gained additional experience in the Rehabilitation Ward at Newmarket Hospital.

Her expertise encompasses working with patients suffering from various conditions, including back pain, stroke, spinal cord injuries, post-tumor resection, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dementia, osteoarthritis, and multiple fractures.

In Spain, Ewa worked at Clínica Coruña in Galicia, focusing on treating patients with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and neurological disorders. She completed some of her placements at Juan Canalejo Hospital in La Coruña, where she concentrated on the trauma-orthopedic and neurology departments.

She provides rehabilitation treatments for individuals recovering from deconditioning, injuries, or polytrauma.
